The outdoor units are equipped with heaters on the bottom of the outdoor units, which allows efficient operation in the heating mode even in extreme cold. The air conditioner activates the defrost mode only when necessary and only for as long as necessary to defrost the heat exchanger, so the heating works almost continuously. The intelligent defrosting system used in AUX air conditioners improves the energy efficiency of the units by 5% and increases the heating efficiency by up to 20% at low outdoor temperatures. Depending on the layout of the room, interior design requirements and user needs, the device can be installed on the floor directly against the wall or suspended from the ceiling. The indoor unit housing has a factory-cut fresh air intake hole that allows the unit to supply fresh air from outside into the room, the maximum amount of fresh air available is up to 10% of the supply air.
